The CEO of TIF-HELEXPO, Mr Andreas Mavrommatis, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).<\/p>\n
His three-year term will begin following the UFI General Assembly, which will take place on 2 November 2026, as part of the 93rd UFI Global Congress in Bahrain.<\/p>\n
Recognizing the importance of international networking in an increasingly globalized environment, TIF-HELEXPO has invested in strengthening its international presence by actively participating in the institutional bodies of the global exhibition community. TIF-HELEXPO has been a member of UFI since 1927.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy election is an honor for me and for the company and demonstrates that TIF-HELEXPO has consistently maintained its representation within the forums where the latest developments in the exhibition industry take shape. We will leverage this position to bring international expertise to the transformation of the \u2018New TIF\u2019. Founded in 1925, UFI has served for more than a century as the voice of the global exhibition industry. Its mission is to represent, connect and develop the exhibition community worldwide, serving exhibition organizers, exhibition venue operators, major national and international exhibition associations, and selected industry partners. Today, UFI brings together approximately 900 member organizations across 90 countries and territories, directly representing more than 50,000 exhibition industry professionals worldwide.<\/p>\n
UFI President Panittha Buri stated:
