TIF-HELEXPO participated with its own pavilion in the 93rd International Agricultural Fair, held from May 16 to 21 at Novi Sad Fair, activating its Memorandum of Cooperation with the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and Serbia\u2019s exhibition organization.<\/p>\n
The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in November 2025 in Thessaloniki by the three parties, laying the groundwork for systematic collaboration in the fields of exhibitions, business networking, international outreach, and strengthening connections between productive sectors in Greece and Serbia.
\nTIF-HELEXPO made a strong presence at the fair, showcasing the Greek exhibition ecosystem and its sector-specific trade fairs in an environment marked by intense business activity, institutional participation, and international partnerships.<\/p>\n
At the business level, it made strategic use of its participation by holding more than 130 B2B meetings with companies and organizations taking part in the fair. The objective was to promote its flagship sectoral exhibitions and to strengthen the participation of international businesses and visitors in events hosted in Thessaloniki.Particular focus was placed on the following exhibitions: Agrotica, Zootechnia, Agrothessaly, Freskon, Food & Drinks by Detrop, and Artozyma.<\/p>\n
During the exhibition, institutional meetings were also held with the President of the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Maja Gojkovi\u0107, and her team. The discussions focused on strengthening channels of cooperation and further leveraging the exhibition platform as a tool for economic diplomacy and business development. Particularly important was the collaboration with the Office of Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Embassy of Greece in Belgrade, specifically with its Head, Mr. Antonios Katepodis, and Advisor Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis, with the aim of further strengthening economic relations between Greece and Serbia through the exhibition activities of TIF-HELEXPO. Meetings were also held, among others, with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina and the management of Novi Sad Fair.<\/p>\n
At the same time, TIF-HELEXPO met with and explored opportunities for cooperation with representatives of the agri-food sector and trade agencies from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, and Slovenia, as well as with organizations such as the Cooperative Union of Vojvodina, the National Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops of the Republic of Serbia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Srpska, the Consul General of Montenegro in Serbia, and the Consul General of Angola in Serbia.<\/p>\n
The TIF-HELEXPO delegation in Novi Sad consisted of Giorgos Goniadis, International Relations Executive and Secretary of the Board of Directors; Vasiliki Digga, Project Manager of the Agrotica, Zootechnia, and Agrothessaly exhibitions; and Araxia Ganapetian, Project Manager of Food & Drinks by Detrop and Artozyma.<\/p>\n
Participation in this event forms part of TIF-HELEXPO\u2019s strategy for a stronger presence in the Balkan markets, with particular emphasis on agriculture, livestock farming, fresh produce, food production and processing, bakery and confectionery, and the technologies that support the modern primary sector.<\/p>\n
It further strengthened the image of Thessaloniki as an international exhibition hub, opened new channels of cooperation with institutional and business stakeholders in Serbia and the wider region, and reaffirmed its role as a leading exhibition organization in Southeast Europe as an organization that connects markets, sectors, and people, creating a meaningful development impact.<\/p>\n
The 93rd International Agricultural Fair at Novi Sad Fair attracted strong interest from the region\u2019s agri-food market, with significant participation from businesses, institutions, producers, and agricultural organizations.
